Modern factory farming
crowds animals into such unhealthy conditions,
they need antibiotics to survive. The same methods
that are used to produce most meats are
also used to produce most milk and eggs. Today's
farms are mechanized factories where an
animal's welfare is of little concern compared to
profit. Veganism emerges as the lifestyle most
consistent with the philosophy that animals are
not ours to use or abuse.
Living as a compassionate vegan gives one peace of mind as we strive to ensure not one penny of our money goes to support companies that torture animals for profit.

Animal Rights activist Elizabeth J. Farians....
We are sad to report the passing of Elizabeth J Farians on 10/21/13 at the age of 90.
Betty was an amazing woman who championed many causes in her lifetime. In July 2016 we received a letter from Farm Santuary informing us that she had set up a trust in their name as her legacy. No one here was surprised that she never mentioned it. For her it was all for the animals.
See a copy of that nice letter here. Elizabeth J Farians Farm Sanctuary Trust
The website www.Ape-Connections.org (site of the work of Elizabeth Farians) is down due to expired domain. We have reposted the site here because it has a wealth of information and is a tribute to Elizabeth's life's work and creativity. SEE APE-CONNECTIONS.ORG here and learn more about this amazing woman and the work she was so passioniate about.
Betty's Life Story
In 2010 Betty sat for a 76 minute video taping of her telling her life story. This recording as well as her semester review of her teaching her Theology and Animal's clas at Xavier University and a few other interesting clips is on a 2 DVD set available by contacting Rich at World Family on Video in Cincinnati.
